Job Description

The Senior Marketing Manager applies creativity and depth of knowledge to articulate and promote the School’s mission, vision, brand, and image to its various constituents and in support of Malvern Prep’s ambitious aspirations.

Delivers a progressive and creative approach to marketing and communications. Embraces Malvern’s mission and core values in all facets of the marketing and communication processes.

The ideal candidate is a mission-driven marketer who brings strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a commitment to elevating the Malvern Prep brand, both locally and nationally.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

  • Marketing & Communications professional with at least 3-5 years of experience

  • Education or non-profit industry marketing is a plus, but not required

  • Background in social media preferred

  • Knowledge of Marketing tools and platforms: Google Suite, Adobe Creative products, FinalSite, Veracross, Hootsuite

Essential Duties:

  • Social Media - Responsible for all organic social media. Stays up to date with innovative trends that increase engagement across social platforms. Works closely with the Associate Director to plan and maintain the social media calendar. 

  • Project Management - Collaborates with and manages projects as assigned, including writing, collateral creation, social media strategy, etc., for Development, Academics, and Student Activities.

  • Advertising - Owns and maintains print, broadcast, and outdoor advertising calendar and vendor relationships. Coordinates with publications, outdoor, and broadcast vendors to book space and provide materials.

  • Photography - Coordinates photography and video services to document various events. Manages, maintains, and archives all photography.

  • Malvern Weekly Newsletter - Writes, edits, and manages weekly electronic newsletter, ensuring it is accurate and delivered on time each week. Collaborates with various staff members to collect and edit various articles and sources of information. 

  • Digital Sign - Maintains and schedules events to display on the digital sign.

  • Monthly Reporting - Create statistical reports that demonstrate measurable improvements in Malvern's performance and online presence.  

  • Budget and Invoicing - Maintains department budget and works with the Billing Office to ensure all invoices are submitted on time.
