Job DescriptionAs a Business License Administrator at Honeywell, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) business regarding business licenses and renewals. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end licensing process across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with state/province, county, and city regulations.
This position reports to the Americas Compliance Manager and follows a hybrid work schedule based in Atlanta, GA.
You will play a critical role in maintaining existing licenses, supporting new license applications, developing licensing strategies, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure regulatory compliance across the business.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of business licenses and related records
- Serve as a subject matter resource for business teams on licensing requirements and application procedures
- Evaluate active licenses to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Collaborate across business units to identify required licenses for operations
- Monitor license expiration dates, issue renewal notifications, and process renewals in a timely manner
- Process new business license applications, verify required documentation, and resolve application discrepancies
- Partner with business, legal, and HR teams to monitor qualified individual certifications
- Ensure subcontractor licenses are properly maintained and compliant
- Deliver training to business teams on licensing processes, requirements, and best practices
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE- High Schools diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business licensing or related roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using SAP or other ERP systems

- Working knowledge of licensing laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating in a team environment
- Strong administrative, organizational, and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
