The
Warehouse Associate will assist in warehouse operations, including receiving, storing and distributing product.
Responsibilities Include:- Receive and verify incoming product; enter into computer system.
- Load and unload shipments.
- Stock product.
- Accurately pull and pack orders for both shipping and will call customer pick-up.
- Assist in counting of physical inventory.
- Utilize shipping software to prepare outbound shipments.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including a forklift.
- Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
- Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for all associates.
- Sweep, dust or mop the warehouse area as needed.
- Count, verify and receive inventory into computer system
- Sort and place product in proper rack locations
- Move bales of fabric, cases of finish goods, and any other necessary items between processes, to and from storage, and to and from shipping areas with a lift truck
- Supply cutting with all bolts necessary for cutting as bolts list arrived as wo's are printed.
- Provide material needed as requested to cubicles sewing, bedding sewing and quilting area.
- Perform other general warehouse duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications Include:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to bend, lift/stretch, move, up/down, loading/unloading, stand and carry up to 50 pounds for entire shift.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
