As a Director of Operational Excellence HR Services here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in leading and overseeing the HR Services operational excellence. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR services policies and procedures with the focus on operational governance, data privacy, business controls and continuity to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations while driving continuous improvement initiatives and process excellence. Your leadership will be instrumental in optimizing HR services delivery, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring high-quality support to employees and managers.
You will report directly to VP HR Services and you’ll work out of Tempe, AZ on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the organization by optimizing our HR service offerings, collaborating closely with HR and other functional stakeholders and customers, HR COE teams, and external partners to understand business needs and translate them into effective service strategies that drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead and manage the HR Services Operational Excellence team to ensure delivery of high-quality, consistent, and efficient HR services to employees and managers across the organization.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR service offerings and procedures that ensure compliance with local labor laws, data privacy regulations, and business continuity requirements.
- Establish and enforce robust business controls and governance frameworks to safeguard HR data integrity and operational compliance.
- Oversee case management processes to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant resolution of employee inquiries and issues, identifying trends and influencing all operational teams in timely and quality case resolution, as well as driving the case management MOS to ensure compliance with SLAs.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve HR service offerings aligned with the Global Design Model (GDM) to standardize HR service processes globally.
- Manage the HR Services operational Management Operating System (MOS), including coordination of Tier calls, facilitation of Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes, and monitoring of key performance metrics and KPIs to drive operational excellence.
- Provide PMO leadership for HR initiatives: establish project governance (charters, scope, RAIL logs), manage integrated plans and dependencies, and ensure on-time/on-budget delivery of strategic programs.
- Create and maintain standard PMO practices (templates, phase gates, status reporting, lessons learned) and provide clear executive-ready communications on progress, risks, and decisions required.
- Coordinate change management and deployment plans for HR Services process and technology changes, ensuring stakeholder alignment, training readiness, and successful adoption across regions.
- Lead operational analytics efforts by collecting, analyzing, and reporting on HR services performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate closely with senior management, HR Centers of Excellence, and business partners to align HR service delivery with organizational goals, customer needs and evolving business needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, recommending solutions, and implementing best practices within HR service operations and drive continuous productivity while leveraging digital automation and AI.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to the HR Services team to build capabilities and foster a culture of accountability and high performance.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE- 8+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on HR operations and service delivery.
- Extensive experience in HR leadership roles, with a focus on HR service delivery and operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, data privacy, business controls, and business continuity.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience managing case management and service offerings aligned with Global Design Model (GDM) for HR processes.
- Familiarity with HR Services operational Management Operating System (MOS), including Tier calls, RCCA, and metrics/KPIs management.
- Strong skills in operational analytics management to drive data-informed decisions.
- Excellent understanding of HR systems and technology, preferably Oracle HCM and ServiceNow or equivalent HR and Case Management Systems.
- Demonstrated experience in driving innovation and process improvement.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

The annual base salary range for this position is $203,000-$254,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
