In this role, you will impact on the overall efficiency of the supply chain by providing analytical support that enhances inventory management and procurement strategies, ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet production demands. You will report to the Senior Materials Management Manager on a full-time basis onsite in Olathe, Kansas.
Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Revenue attainment of key piece part component spares shipments for the Aero Electrical Product Center
- Working with a group of spares analysts supporting the factory floor shortages and inventory
- Ensuring that key processes are met and adhered to, including but no limited to allocations, DPAS priority, and Government Source Inspections.
- Coordination with logistics team to align spares deliveries with critical priorities and logistics capacity.
- Detect and escalate key barriers and opportunities (including order blocks, holds and material shortages)
- Analyze materials management processes and identify areas for improvement to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Utilize inventory management systems to monitor stock levels and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and align materials supply with production schedules.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE- 1+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, or logistics, with a track record of success in optimizing supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in materials management software and ERP systems.
- Experience in inventory management and procurement strategies.
WE VALUE- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Expertise in material control systems such as MRP/SAP systems.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
