QBE is seeking a Chief Engineer Architect in support of the U.S. Navy’s PEO IWS-X initiative, to provide technical leadership for the design, integration, and testing of complex systems, including KVM-based virtualization, system security prototypes, and the F127 Combat System Compute Infrastructure (CI).
This role manages the full systems engineering lifecycle team, defines system architecture, resolves technical issues, and mentors junior staff. Responsibilities also include integrating System Design with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Anti-Tamper (AT) requirements and best practices. The successful candidate can apply strong Foreign Military Sales (FMS) expertise to adapt U.S. system designs for international applications, identifying opportunities to leverage existing solutions while aligning with partner nation requirements. Interpreted and refined often ambiguous international requirements, translating them into clear engineering direction that balanced cost, capability, and compliance within program constraints. Enabled efficient delivery of high-value, exportable solutions while minimizing rework and maintaining adherence to defined requirements.
