Use your wireless/RF technical expertise as a program team leader to analyze and develop Weather Radar capabilities, as well as develop new products, for Honeywell Aerospace. You will rely on your extensive experience and judgment to effectively and efficiently plan and execute projects to meet customer requirements. You will Leads proposals to address future business opportunities.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities- Design and build custom applications for Weather Radar
- Perform signal processing and modulation techniques for Weather Radar applications
- Perform design, development, simulation, and field testing of RF Systems
- Develop creative solutions to challenging technical problems
- Author and submit technical white papers for Chief and Executive reviews
- Monitor and analyze statistical data
- Validate RF link performance, quality and reliability
- Mentor junior level engineers
- Act as technical consultant
- Manage projects
- Interface with customer
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE- Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 10+ years in an engineering role
WE VALUE- Experience with Weather Radar Systems and Algorithms.
- Experience with Phased Array and Monopulse Radars
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware and software technical problems
- Knowledge of wireless encryption technologies
- Understanding of wireless project requirements
- Ability to conceptualize new technologies, products and processes
- Ability to find the correct balance between demand and capacity when establishing priorities for the organization
- Consistently making timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness
- Radio Frequency (RF) Survey experience
- Wide degree of creativity and latitude
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
