Inspector - Level 3 - M - F (Day shift)

Job Description

As an Inspector - Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through meticulous inspection and testing. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards and ensuring that our products meet all regulatory and customer requirements.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will impact the overall quality assurance processes, ensuring that our products meet industry standards and customer expectations, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and trust in our brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Inspection of microwave circuits will be in accordance with the requirements of hybrid workmanship standards based on MIL-STD-883, Method 2017. In addition, some products include printed wiring assemblies requiring inspection per IPC-A-610.
  • Must utilize a microscope for inspection up to 20X magnification and perform detailed piece part inspections at 400X-600X magnification. Use of handle tools during inspections would include tweezers for handling small parts.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.

Pay Transparency

The hourly pay range for this position is $32.65/hr.- $ 40.80/hr. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE
  • Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Must utilize a microscope for inspection up to 20X magnification and perform detailed piece part inspections at 400X-600X magnification.
  • Use of handle tools during inspections would include tweezers for handling small parts.
  • Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, quality standards, and defect identification.
  • Proficiency with inspection tools and equipment relevant to the role.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license)

WE VALUE
  • Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inspection or quality assurance roles.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of Integrated Supply Chain processes and quality management systems.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
