Summer Program Houston PREP Instructor requirements:
Houston PREP is designed to engage middle and high school students in STEM fields, to inspire creativity, to encourage interactive learning, to foster positive thinking.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Knowledge of Science, Technology, Mathematics fields
- Candidates must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse university community
- Dependable, professional, and positive responsibilities
Required Qualifications - 2+ years of college level courses in Mathematics or Computer Science
- Education in lieu of experience
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, Engineering, or similarly related fields
- Experience in lieu of education
