In this role, you will impact supplier quality by managing the day-to-day activities of your team, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for conducting supplier audits, performing root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions to address quality issues.

Key Responsibilities - Be a member of a team of Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) to ensure that our suppliers meet Honeywell's quality standards and strategy in the manufacture of components.
- Be responsible for driving supplier performance improvement.
- develop and maintain the systems used in determining supplier performance metrics for Space Programs
- Manage supplier relationships, by being main point of contact between Honeywell and suppliers when dealing with product quality concerns, ensuring the highest level of quality in our supply chain.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Root Cause Analysis, Corrective/Preventative Actions, Mistake Proofing, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities.
- Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives. Identify and lead projects related to Continuous Improvements.
- Be a representative in all AS9100 audits pertaining to Supplier Quality Engineering activities and supporting audits for Receiving/Inspection (R/I) processes.
- Be responsible for conducting supplier visits, to include trip reports.
- Be main point of contact for all Basis of Estimate (BOE) requests for Space Program SQE and R/I activities and inputting all data in the AET system.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- 2+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in conducting supplier audits and performing root cause analysis.
WE VALUE - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in leading supplier performance improvement initiatives.
- Six Sigma certification or knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong project management skills.
