Job DescriptionAs a Cyber Security Architect- Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in designing and implementing robust cybersecurity solutions that protect our critical assets and information. You will work hands-on to fortify defenses against emerging cyber threats and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and resilience of our business operations.
You will report directly to our Cyber Security Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the safety and integrity of systems that power the modern world by driving technical excellence, supporting incident response efforts, and continuously improving our cybersecurity posture.

Responsibilities- Design and implement cybersecurity solutions to protect critical assets and information.
- Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into product and system development lifecycles.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or architecture roles
- Minimum of 2 years of working with cybersecurity frameworks, threat modeling, and risk management principles
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and vulnerability management tools
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and security automation tools
WE VALUE- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC
- Experience leading cybersecurity projects or teams
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, or GDPR
- Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt to evolving cybersecurity threats
