The Referral Response Coordinator (RRC) utilizes healthcare knowledge, expertise, independent industry
specific judgement and medical protocols to support all aspects of the organ donation referral process in the Donor Service Area (DSA) hospitals in Oregon, southern Washington, and southwest Idaho.
This position will provide referral call coverage and on-site response to area hospitals to conduct medical evaluation on all potential organ donors and develop a plan with the healthcare team to maintain the option of donation. The RRC also acts as an integral support role to the other clinical roles at Cascade Life Alliance (CLA). The duties of this position are in support CLA's mission and goals.

Associates of Science Degree with healthcare related focus or equivalent experience.
2-years recent relevant clinical or educational experience.
Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Must be able to work in an adaptive fashion with a wide range of professional and nonprofessional constituents including but not limited to governmental officials, students, healthcare staff and the public.
Bachelor's of Science Degree with healthcare related focus or equivalent experience.
Recent donation related experience.
The referral response coordinator triages all incoming patient referrals, conducts onsite huddles in partner
hospital ICU's as appropriate, remotely assists onsite Organ Donation Coordinators. The RRC works for 12-hour periods and may travel via commercial aircraft and vehicle.
Marketing and education responsibilities include Provide education to hospital staff for the purpose of increasing organ donation.
Will work 12-hour shifts and be able to function for extended hours in an intense, high-paced environment.
Have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle. Must be available to drive in weather conditions year-round across the DSA.
