Position Details:

  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour

Your Role & Responsibilities:

As part of our kitchen staff, you ensure our residents receive nutritious, accurate, and safely prepared meals.

  • Meal Service: Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks according to standardized recipes and menus.
  • Quality Control: Check trays for menu accuracy and resident diet preferences.
  • Specialized Prep: Prepare food to achieve the proper consistency for mechanical soft and pureed diets.
  • Sanitation: Wash dishes and clean the kitchen following meal service; ensure all dishes are put away properly.
  • Safety First: Provide all dietary services using proper infection control and safety measures.


Qualifications:

  • Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable: Punctual and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Compassionate: A desire to serve the senior and sub-acute population.
  • Experience: Previous kitchen or healthcare dietary experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
