JOB SUMMARY
The Education Generalist at North Mississippi Health Services is responsible for the development, planning, organization and oversight for a variety of departmental activities including coordination, learning event logistics, and documentation. This position collaborates with Director of Education and other education managers to evaluate success and opportunities for improvement by developing and monitoring key indicator metrics.
JOB
FUNCTIONS

Collaborates with NMHS Director of Education and Talent Development and other department managers to accurately document and maintain educational programming/activity data based on identified needs, assessments and usage reports.

Operates as a master user/administrator of multiple software and computer programs within the department including PeopleSoft, API, Service Now, HealthStream, Microsoft Office Suite (including TEAMS), and the Cloud CME data management system.

Resolves problem-solving/troubleshooting for all stakeholders including internal NMHS leadership, regional providers and advance practice clinicians who are system end-users.

Collaborates with Department leader to facilitate all general ledger and budget functions for the Education department.

Manages the internal NMHS Education Intranet webpage content, updates and liaison work with IT for any issues or other needs associated with the site.

Coordinates educational program write-ups and CE/CME Activity documentation along with assisting other system leadership in preparing unit specific program documentation as identified/assigned.

Develop program/training materials in partnership with Education Department leadership and other NMHS system leaders to help met their programming goals.

Oversees the for monitoring and submission of required regulatory reporting for NMHS employees, partners/ providers and other stakeholders to ensure organizational mandated, regulatory and accreditation goals are met.

Prepares delivery of logistical planning, support and deployment for educational activities, classes and conferences.

Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines.

Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues.
