Sr IT Architect-Teamcenter

Job Description

As a Sr IT Architect-Teamcenter here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will support, design, and refine robust SIEMENS Supplier Connect solution.

We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter Architect with a strong background in Siemens Teamcenter PLM , especially within the Supplier Connect module. The position entails actively supporting Teamcenter Enhancement activities and sustaining current Supplier Connect operations at Honeywell Aerospace by aligning technical approaches with business objectives and meeting organizational requirements for AECS (Automated Export Control System).

You will report directly to our Sr Software Eng Manager and you’ll work on a hybrid work schedule out of our Phoenix, Arizona site. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supplier Onboarding & Access: Set up new suppliers in Teamcenter, manage user credentials, and define, secure access levels.
  • Backend & Code Fixes: Resolving ITK/SOA customizations, backend issues in Teamcenter, and supporting https multisite configurations.
  • BMIDE: Managing Business Modeler IDE changes, deployment, and data modelling fixes.
  • Patching & Upgrades: Deploying hotfixes, service packs, and managing system upgrades.
  • Collaboration: Working with infrastructure teams to tune system performance (database, FMS) and coordinating with developers on code fixes in coordination with Teamcenter Support team.
  • RCA & Preventive Action: Conducting Root Cause Analysis on major incidents to prevent recurrence of Production issues.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot portal access issues and ensure adherence to Honeywell Aerospace US export control requirements.




Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • 7-12 years of experience in PLM systems with a strong focus on Siemens Teamcenter Administrator knowledge.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • Proven track record in implementing and managing large-scale Teamcenter PLM projects.
  • Deep knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, modules include Active Workspace, Access Manager, Workflow designer, Multisite Supplier Collaboration / Supplier Connect
  • Strong proficiency in programming and scripting (e.g., C++, Java, ITK, RAC, SOA, BMIDE, Active Workspace customizations).
  • Knowledge of PLM security models and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
