As the IT Director – Engineering AI you partner with engineering, the Aerospace IT AI delivery team, Aero architecture, and all compliance teams to enable AI solutions for engineering delivering the full AI solution including hardware and the full software stack depending on the use case. You will ensure schedules are in place and will be bold about helping re-engineer AI project approval processes to ensure compliance and speed.
Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Work with engineering and IT to ensure teams progress through the project together from requirements through cutover and user adoption.
- Propose a streamlined and lean AI use case approval process in partnership with all Aero teams.
- Work with engineering to develop AI solution concepts and Business Cases for new investments
- Become an expert at AI concepts and tools at a management level.
- Work with engineering to measure AI solution user adoption. Oversee the launch of solution and maximize the positive impact on the organization—ensure benefits realization.
- Develop, train, and manage the IT professionals on your team and other teams in the Engineering IT org.
Qualifications Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
You Must Have:- Eight or more years of related experience in IT, Engineering, or related functions combined
- Five or more years of project or portfolio management experience
