Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring an Equipment Coordinator in Sparrows Point, Maryland. The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for loading, unloading, receiving/releasing all rental equipment and attachments, (new or used sales and service machines as well in co-locations) as well as maintaining the rental yard for easy access; directing the delivery of new equipment, returns. Seeking candidates with previous experience operating construction equipment; Previous experience operating a forklift.
Requirements for the Equipment Coordinator position include:
Physical requirements must be met for the Equipment Coordinator job, including frequently sitting for extended periods of time. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Starting Compensation Range: $26.39 – $33.18 per hour
Actual base pay may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, education, geographic location, and other business needs. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include participation in performance-based incentive programs, such as discretionary or non-discretionary plans.
