A Performance Tools Technician is a professional responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and operation of tools and equipment used to measure and improve the performance of various systems.

Qualifications

  • Technical degree or certification in a related field.
  • Experience with performance tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using and maintaining performance measurement tools.
  • Knowledge of calibration standards and procedures.
  • Technical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory and parts management systems.


Responsibilities

  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, maintain, and repair various types of performance tools and equipment.
  • Calibration and Testing: Perform routine calibrations and tests to ensure tools are functioning accurately.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and performance issues.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of service, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Regular Servicing: Schedule and execute regular maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure optimal tool performance.
  • Customer Service: Provide support and respond to inquiries from internal or external customers regarding tool performance.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures when handling tools and equipment.
  • Parts Management: Order and replace parts as necessary to keep tools in working order.
