Academic Services Administrator

Job Description

The Academic Services/Global Programs Administrator supports the planning, coordination, and administration of international educational and clinical programs at the Morsani College of Medicine. This role manages key global initiatives, oversees operational and financial execution, and collaborates with faculty, clinical partners, and administrative leadership to ensure high-quality international programming and compliance. Works closely with the Associate Director, Associate Dean, faculty leaders, clinical partners, and administrative units across the Morsani College of Medicine.Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience

Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree.
  • Senate Bill 1310- The Florida Senate ( https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2023/1310 ) is conditional upon meeting all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S.
  • SB 1310: Substitution of Work Experience for Postsecondary Education Requirements
  • A public employer may include a postsecondary degree as a baseline requirement only as an alternative to the number of years of direct experience required, not to exceed:
    • (a) Two years of direct experience for an associate degree;
    • (b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
    • (c) Six years of direct experience for a master's degree;
    • (d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
    • (e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
  • Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure, certification, or registration required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the advertised description of the position of employment.
  • Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310

Preferred/ Special Skills
  • Master's degree; Some global experience.
  • Strong Spanish language skills are highly desirable

  • Support management of international institutional agreements and strategic initiatives.
  • Administer and oversee the Clinical Observership Program, including compliance, credentialing, financial execution, and coordination with clinical partners.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate international educational and clinical training programs; prepare budgets and reports.
  • Implement and manage the International Medicine Scholarly Concentration (imSC), including student tracking, faculty coordination, and special events.
  • Supervise daily office and program operations, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and internal/external communications.
  • Coordinate logistics and itineraries for international delegations and visitors.
  • Support marketing, communications, website content, and public-facing materials related to global programs.
  • Provide administrative support to senior leadership and assist with international health, safety, or operational emergencies as needed.
