Role Summary

Join Joval Manufacturing team as a Sheet Metal Assembler. This is an entry-level, hands-on role with on-the-job training. You will assemble prefabricated sheet metal components used in HVAC, plumbing, and roofing, support production flow, and help maintain quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble prefabricated sheet metal components to meet production and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain basic assembly tools and equipment; follow safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Package and stage finished products for shipment according to company standards.
• Complete production paperwork and digital logs accurately and on time.
• Safely handle fiberglass insulation and other materials when required, using provided PPE.
• Support teammates across the shop floor and assist with material movement and troubleshooting.
• Suggest small process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce rework.

Success Criteria

• Meets daily production and quality targets with minimal rework.
• Demonstrates consistent safe work habits and proper use of PPE.
• Communicates effectively with leads and teammates about issues and improvements.
• Learns new tasks quickly and takes on additional responsibilities over time.

Minimum Qualifications

Required

• Ability to safely lift and carry 50+ lbs repeatedly.
• Comfortable standing for full shifts and performing repetitive physical tasks.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete simple paperwork.

Preferred

• Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environments.
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic shop equipment.
• Experience reading simple diagrams or infographics.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Work primarily in a semi-open-air warehouse; temperatures vary seasonally with mitigation measures in place.
• Some tasks involve handling fiberglass insulation; PPE and training provided.
