Job Description -
- Operate CTP equipment to expose sensitized metal plate from digital files to produce offset printing plates
- Review images produced on plate for defects or errors that will manifest during the printing process
- Maintain production documentation
- May replenish chemical solutions in automatic plate processors and perform routine light maintenance on equipment.
Physical Requirements -
- Must be able to carry up to 20 pounds frequently
- Occasionally move up to 40 pounds of equipment
- Ability to stand for entire duration of shift
Qualifications -
- Must be able to read and interpret work instructions
- Must be able to apply principles of rationale systems and solve practical problems
- Learn and be able to maintain/make adjustments to end of press automation
