*Job Summary*
We are seeking a highly experienced Automotive Service Technician with over seven years of hands-on expertise to join our dynamic team. \*\*\*\*Must have at least 7+ years on-the-job *experience as an Automotive Technician*.
European and or Domestic vehicle repair experience is a must!!!
Sprinter vans and Light Duty Diesel a plus.
*Pay:*
_Hybrid Flat Rate._
* _Base pay up to $20 per hour for showing up and worked hours. Being on time scheduled time._
* _Flat Rate of $10 to $45 per hour flat rate depending on experience, tools and following shop processes. No come backs, meeting goals, and assisting others._
* _Flat Rate Bonus Available, such as $4/$7 additional. Message for details._
*Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
* Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, diesel engines, and suspension components.
* Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair equipment to execute repairs efficiently.
* Service vehicles by replacing parts, adjusting alignments, performing wheel balancing, and ensuring proper vehicle maintenance procedures are followed.
* Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems effectively.
* Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
* Assist with auto estimating procedures when necessary and maintain detailed records of all work performed in compliance with dealership standards.
* Stay current with industry trends vehicle specifications, automotive electrical systems advancements, and diesel engine repair techniques to deliver top-tier service.
* Follow shop processes and shop goals.
* \*\*\*\*\*Write up complete and thorough repair estimates. Labor and Parts with part numbers.
*Experience*
* Minimum of seven years’ dealership or independent shop experience as an automotive service technician.
* Proven expertise in automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance across a broad range of vehicle makes and models.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working on powertrains, transmissions, electrical systems, diesel engines, and alignments.
* Familiarity with schematics interpretation and the use of diagnostic software tools.
* Experience working with European and Domestic vehicles or similar brands is preferred but not required.
* Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair machinery.
