Senior IT Solution Architect - Order to Cash

Job Description

As a Sr IT Solution Architect – Order to Cash at Honeywell, you will leverage your extensive expertise within the Order to Cash (OTC) technology solution strategy and design. As a leader, you will play important role in shaping OTC technology solution architecture and digital transformation roadmap for SAP ECC, S/4 and adjacent technologies. Whether you are defining the strategic direction, optimizing operational efficiency, or mentoring a team, this position offers a unique opportunity to impact the future of our technology landscape profoundly.

You will report directly to the IT Director and work out of our Phoenix, AZ or Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact on our organization's ability to adapt, scale, and thrive in an ever-evolving technological landscape. You will build and foster close relationships with cross-functional business and IT teams to develop IT architecture solutions that ensure alignment with the business, security and compliance objectives.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.


Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage design and development of Order to Cash IT solution architecture for SAP ECC, S/4, AI/ML, and other adjacent technologies
  • Translate OTC business requirements and scenarios into ECC and SAP S/4 solution designs, including integrations patterns, data structures, and configuration strategy.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Order to Collections capabilities and best practices to:
    -Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements to optimize performance and efficiency
    -Leverage your expertise in the OTC technologies by partnering with the Customer Experience and Credit to Cash organizations to identify opportunities, gaps, and technologies needed to fulfill business needs
    -Provide digital transformation roadmap recommendations, influence decisions on short-term and long-term transformations
    -Partner with cross-functional Solution Delivery team to ensure new applications complement global & cross-functional processes and standards
    -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute IT solution architecture strategies aligned with business objectives, pushing the envelope on innovation
    -Engage with Security and Export Control governance teams to develop and maintain OTC solution compliance standards
    -Foster a culture of continuous improvement that drives operational efficiency, innovative solutions, and focused on cost-effective solutions without compromising quality and security


Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Hands-on experience supporting SAP ECC and S/4 blueprinting, design, and implementation activities, including translating business requirements into system designs
  • Experience supporting core SAP OTC business processes
  • Experience building Integration architecture with SAP ECC or S/4
  • Experience in Capability Maturity Modelling and Enterprise Architecture Tools and Frameworks
  • Worked on at least one end-to-end SAP implementation
  • Experience gathering requirements, authoring functional and solution design documentation, and supporting testing activities
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills


WE VALUE
  • At least 5 years of IT or business systems experience supporting SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience implementing Sales and Distribution (SAP - SD) processes in SAP ECC or S/4 HANA, including integration with FI - Accounts Receivables/Finance Supply Chain (FSCM), Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Good understanding of end-to-end Order to Cash processes and touch points with third-party tools
  • Experience working in Master Data Management applications and architecting customer data flows
  • Good understanding of IT Security and Export Control
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in technology solutions.
