As a Sr HSE Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility within the organization. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the well-being of employees, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting sustainability through engineering solutions and proactive safety measures.
You will report directly to our designated leadership and you’ll work out of our Rocky Mount, NC location on an On-site work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Develop and execute comprehensive HSE strategies that align with the organization's mission, fostering a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
- Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement engineering solutions and preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for HSE-related incidents, including accidents and environmental emergencies.
- Promote environmental sustainability by implementing eco-friendly practices and minimizing the environmental impact of the organization's operations.
- Travel less than 10%
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE- Experience in HSE engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and developing emergency response plans.
- Experience with implementing eco-friendly practices and sustainability initiatives.
- Familiarity with budget management and resource allocation related to HSE programs.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, Excel, and Power BI.
