As an Advanced Hardware Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge hardware solutions. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the advancement of Honeywell’s hardware systems by designing complex hardware architectures, performing rigorous testing and validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware components seamlessly. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead and drive the hardware design process, from concept to production, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications that meet customer needs.
- Design and develop complex hardware systems, including schematic capture and PCB layout, followed by thorough testing and validation.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 6+ years of experience in hardware design and development, demonstrating strong knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools, with experience in hardware testing and validation to ensure product performance and reliability
- Experience with high-speed digital and analog circuit design, FPGA and microcontroller-based designs is highly desirable
WE VALUE- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead hardware design projects from concept through production
- Advanced degrees such as Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
- Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers and managing complex hardware design projects
- Strong understanding of industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in hardware engineering
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a passion for innovation and continuous learning
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capabilities

The annual base salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - 146,000.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
