Job Description:Job: Laboratory TechnicianShift: Swing Shift (12pm-12am; Monday-Thursday)Location: Royal Canin (North Sioux City, SD)The role is assisting quality system operation, ensuring quality management system implementation in factories and compliance with MARS QMP & regulatory.
What are we looking for?- At least High School Diploma or equivalent; science background preferred.
- Prior experience in food related manufacturing or GMP environment preferred.
- Problem solving skill and systematic thinking.
- Communication and influencing skills.
What will be your key responsibilities?- Prepare and ship microbiological samples to testing lab.
- Conduct environmental sampling including swabbing, air testing, and environmental residue.
- Maintain finished product sample library and retain samples as required.
- Complete testing documents for testing lab and communicate any deviations if necessary.
- Assist Operations/Q&FS with any escalated testing if needed.
- Complete any other projects assigned by Q&FS management.
