The Analyst 2: Informational Technology-Systems Analyst performs a wide range of advanced system and database analysis and programming duties across multiple platforms for the College. Designs, develops, and analyzes software solutions in support of the College’s information technology projects.
The work schedule for this position is flexible and may include working evenings and weekends.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs highly technical design, development and implementation of the College’s information technology systems using the latest industry standards, with a heavy focus on RESTful API development and cloud-native applications
- Responsible for designing, coding, testing, and debugging complex software solutions using various programming languages and platforms
- Follows secure coding practices and data protection protocols to safeguard sensitive institutional information
- Determines user requirements and assesses available software packages. Implements, administers, and troubleshoots college systems
- Handles complex data analysis, modification requests, and ETL processes to support departmental decision-making
- Provides end-user support and troubleshooting of cloud platforms and enterprise applications, ensuring a smooth digital experience for students and staff. Resolves system and application issues
- Serves as a project team member working with multiple college departments and outside vendors
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor
