Get to Know This Role
The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Legal, Regulatory, & Compliance department by processing and organizing large amounts of physical and electronic data from multiple sources. This role will regularly partner with all members of the Compliance department. Reporting to the Manager of Contracts and Compliance this role will be responsible for maintaining the company's business and operational licenses; retrieving, tracking and filing of the department's documents and records; and general administrative tasks.

What You Will Do
  • Administration
    • Monitor department inbox and process incoming requests & correspondence
    • Process incoming mail
    • Process department check requests
    • Maintain updated SOPs and contact cards related to core duties including changes to licensing, insurance, and brand registration processes; ABC board websites; and key contact information
    • Respond to document requests
  • Licensing & Insurance
    • Supports the compliance team in maintaining licensing and insurance compliance and procurement of new licenses
    • Responsible for completing various tasks associated with license renewal applications for existing business licenses
    • Responsible for processing requests for certificates of insurance
    • Assists with annual insurance renewal applications
  • Document Management
    • Responsible for collecting; organizing, batching, scanning and indexing department documents in a timely manner
    • Responsible for tracking and updating records and expiration dates for licenses, insurance policies, contracts, brand registrations, and other department files in various trackers and databases used by the department
    • Responsible for responding to document requests
  • Other Duties
    • Assist with contract review requests by screening for completeness
    • Assist with compiling data for use by compliance team
       
Please Apply if You Have
  • Associate's degree or any combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved preferred
  • 1 year administrative support experience required
  • Beer industry experience preferred
  • Experience in state and federal business licensing preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Proven ability to be analytical and process data accurately and thoroughly
  • Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of employees across multiple departments
  • Ability to maintain the highest-level confidentiality
  • Ability to successfully manage competing demands and provide exceptional customer service
  • Must be able to manage multiple duties simultaneously and have strong organizational skills
  • Desire to learn and build skillset within the Legal and Regulatory landscape
  • Notary Public Commission - California within 180 Days preferred
