*Overview *
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist / Pharmacy Director to lead our pharmacy services. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical pharmacy experience, including (CAH) hospital and critical care settings, with a focus on patient safety, medication management, and team leadership. This role offers an opportunity to oversee pharmacy operations and contribute to exceptional patient care across clinical environments.
*Responsibilities*
* Lead and manage all pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
* Oversee medication dispensing, administration, and inventory control to optimize safety and efficiency.
* Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement medication therapy protocols, including pain management and emergency interventions.
* Supervise pharmacy staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster professional growth.
* Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and proper handling of IV infusions in sterile environments.
* Participate in hospital committees focused on patient safety, medication use policies, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to outpatient clinic, acute care settings and emergency rooms.
*Skills*
* Clinical pharmacy experience with specialization in hospital medicine and critical care environments.
* Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology principles, and medication administration protocols.
* Experience with IV infusion techniques, and aseptic procedures.
* Familiarity with pediatric pharmacotherapy, acute pain management, and emergency room medication protocols.
* Ability to assess patient needs accurately through patient service initiatives and patient care strategies.

Pay: $102,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
