Housed within the Department of Medicine Center for Research on Health Care, CONVERGE is a multidisciplinary, collaborative research center focused on advancing sexual and reproductive health equity through innovative research, policy analysis, and community partnerships. CONVERGE seeks an Administrative Assistant to supports the directors, faculty and staff of this quickly expanding center in varied complex administrative and office functions in addition to specialized technical support as necessary.
Support directors and other faculty through calendar management, meeting coordination and support. Coordinate and manage all logistics of center events, meetings and presentations. Arrange travel and process faculty expense reports and reimbursements. Update CVs as directed including formatting. Conduct literature retrievals and reviews. Review publication drafts for properly formatted references and citations (e.g., EndNote). Other duties as assigned.
Supports senior level roles in a wide variety of complex administrative and office functions as well as specialized technical support for academic or administrative departments.
Requires the ability to visualize a computer screen, to work with computer hardware and software, to communicate verbally and in writing, and to use a phone. The candidate must have strong working knowledge of English.
Position is mostly sedentary work.
