Position Summary
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides clinical assessment, treatment planning, supervision, and oversight for assigned home-based and center-based clients within the Elevate program.
The BCBA is responsible for supervising Behavior Technicians (BTs), evaluating client progress using data-driven methods, and ensuring the effective implementation of insurance-funded treatment programs, Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), Behavior Management Guidelines (BMGs), and applicable Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The BCBA serves as the primary clinical liaison with parents and caregivers.
When assigned, the BCBA may serve as the on-site clinical lead for Elevate Center-Based Services during periods when the Clinical Manager is not physically present. In this role, the BCBA provides time-limited clinical oversight, safety support, and clinical decision-making to ensure continuity of care and adherence to approved practices. Ultimate responsibility for center operations, staffing models, and program capacity remains with the Clinical Manager.
General Responsibilities
Oversee the supervision, safety, and clinical integrity of assigned staff and clients
Maintain active BCBA certification and Massachusetts LABA licensure
Ensure accurate collection, review, and maintenance of electronic clinical data, documentation, and reports
Complete clinical documentation in compliance with organizational policies, funder requirements, HIPAA, and privacy regulations
Communicate professionally and effectively with staff, families, caregivers, and external providers
Manage clinical, documentation, and supervision responsibilities in a timely and organized manner
Provide and document performance feedback as required
Adhere to the Crossroads Continuum Employee Handbook and Elevate policies and ensure supervisee compliance
Participate in organizational events, recruitment activities, and program-related functions as required
Provide short-term clinical or operational support to Discover Early Learning Center or other programs when staffing needs require
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Clinical & Educational Responsibilities
Conduct and oversee functional behavior assessments and functional analyses
Develop, implement, monitor, and revise empirically supported teaching procedures
Oversee all Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Behavior Management Guidelines (BMGs)
Manage prescribed service hours to ensure alignment with clinical recommendations and authorizations
Collaborate with families and caregivers to support scheduling, participation, and treatment consistency
Monitor service delivery relative to authorized hours and escalate barriers to care appropriately
Ensure timely completion and submission of assessments, progress reports, and IEP documentation
Provide direct clinical services only when clinically indicated or to support short-term coverage needs
Supervision & Leadership Responsibilities
Supervise Behavior Technicians (BTs) in the completion of assigned responsibilities
Provide initial, ongoing, and refresher training to ensure staff competence
Assess training needs and develop individualized training plans
Monitor staff performance and treatment fidelity through observation, feedback, and data review
Ensure staff demonstrate competency prior to independent program implementation
Address documentation or timekeeping concerns and escalate unresolved issues appropriately
Participate in weekly clinical review meetings with the Program Director
Supervise staff pursuing behavior analytic credentials, as applicable
Serve as on-site clinical lead when assigned, providing real-time guidance and safety oversight
Escalate operational, safety, or capacity concerns to the Clinical Manager
Collaborate with the Clinical Manager to ensure continuity of clinical oversight
Communication
Communicate effectively with leadership, staff, families, and external partners
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards
Represent Crossroads Continuum and the Elevate program in a professional manner
Attendance, Participation, and Timeliness
Maintain reliable attendance and meet billable service and documentation requirements
Effectively manage schedule and client hours
Participate in required meetings, trainings, and organizational events
Position may require early morning and/or evening hours to meet client and program needs
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or a related field
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
Active Massachusetts Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) credential
Demonstrated clinical competence in Applied Behavior Analysis
Experience supervising direct-care staff required
Newly certified BCBAs will be considered and provided with structured mentorship
Skills & Abilities
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, consultants, and school districts
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to complete and maintain certification in the organization’s Physical Management curriculum
Physical Requirements
Ability to move quickly and confidently to intervene when protective movements are necessary
Ability to pursue a bolting client
Ability to successfully complete Physical Management training, including:
Lifting up to half of body weight
Pivoting, squatting, kneeling
Remaining in a kneeling position for extended periods
Standing from kneeling while supporting client weight without pushing off with hands
Shuffling forwards and backwards
Assisting a client to the floor
Stabilizing a client in standing, seated, prone, or supine positions

*This position has a $3000 sign-on bonus. Bonus to be paid in two parts: $1500 at 6 months of employment and the remaining $1500 at 12 months of employment.
