Purpose:

The Contract Administrator II is responsible for managing, reviewing, and administering contracts throughout their lifecycle. This role ensures compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications while supporting internal stakeholders and external clients. The position requires strong attention to detail, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and administer contracts, amendments, and related documents.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies, applicable laws, and regulations.
  • Negotiation & Communication:
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to negotiate terms and conditions.
  • Serve as a point of contact for contract-related inquiries.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Monitor contract performance and identify potential risks or issues.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain organized records of contracts and related correspondence.
  • Prepare reports and summaries for management as needed.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Recommend and implement improvements to contract administration processes.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field or 5 years relevant experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in contract administration or related field.

 

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field or 5 years relevant experience


Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in contract administration or related field.
