You will report directly to our Site Director, and you'll work out of our El Paso, TX location on a on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact Honeywell's ability to navigate complex customs regulations, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently, ultimately contributing to our success in the global market.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with trade compliance and carriers to ensure customs bonds are closed on time, preventing fines and penalties.
• Coordinate with cross-border operations to ensure the Mexican customs team processes materials in a timely manner.
• Work with local custom brokers on movement of bonded shipments.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
• 6; years of experience in logistics and trade compliance.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and import/export processes.
• Experience in managing logistics operations and compliance audits.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and tools.
WE VALUE
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in a multinational company and familiarity with cross-border logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex regulations.
