Arrowhead Winch engineers and manufactures industrial winch, hoist and drive systems under the BRADEN, CARCO and Gearmatic brand names in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. We are seeking talented individuals to join our team. Our business is growing and we are seeking an Assembler Entry-Level. This position is located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and the schedule is 1st Shift, Monday - Friday (6:30AM to 3:00PM).

Hourly Rate of Pay: $18.17-$21.98 per hour with occasional overtime available

This offer includes a one-time signing bonus of $1,000 which will be grossed-up to cover the tax withholdings. The first half will be paid after your 90th-day and the second half after you have successfully completed your probationary period of 180-days. If you voluntarily resign from the company before completing one year of employment, you will be required to reimburse the company within 30 days of your resignation.

Our facility is located at 1204 W. 20th St. Okmulgee, OK 74447.

Objective:

  • Assemble pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Follow all verbal or written work instruction, operations, and procedures.

  • Capable of performing basic mechanical functions within an assembly process.

  • Support plant safety policies and set a good example for others.

  • Actively demonstrate good housekeeping practices through the 5S methodology.

  • Ability to work effectively as a team member amongst other assemblers to accomplish monthly production goals in a safe, respectful, and timely manner.

  • Must be capable of recognizing irregularities, or malfunctions, with fit, form, function, or noticeable difference, to assembly parts and equipment, which require immediate notification to the Assembly Supervisor for further inspection and review.

  • Capable of taking initiative to constantly participate and seek new and innovative ways to perform jobs or make recommendations that can initiate the changes in order to make the job better and more efficient.

  • Capable of taking responsibility with the completion of tasks with little supervision.

  • Must be capable of accomplishing job assignments on time, with a high standard of quality.

  • Basic computer skills required for the completion of timecards and production information as necessary in a computerized production management system.

  • Capable of using material handling equipment (Raymond lifts, walkie stackers, low boys, etc.) to pull and position parts and materials necessary to perform your assigned tasks.

Hanging and unhanging parts and pieces for assembly, pre-paint, and final paint production.

  • Perform air test and oil test and functions.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED recipient

  • Have the ability to learn and use pneumatic tools and impacts.

  • Must be able to learn read and understand engineering build prints and build of material specifications.

  • Must be willing and capable of progressing to Assembly II responsibilities within 2 years of service with Arrowhead Winch Inc.

Technical Skills:

  • Must be capable of operating hand and pneumatic tools to ensure proper torque and assembly installations to meet engineering and production requirements.

  • Must be capable of reading and understanding blueprints, and follow written instruction as required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to express and notify lead and supervisors of issues, discrepancies, or disruptions in operations.

  • Superb work organizational skills.

  • Must possess the ability to adapt to an evolving manufacturing environment, with a positive attitude.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Must have good hand eye coordination and hand dexterity.
  • Must be physically able to use hand tools and power tools frequently.
  • Must be able to frequently reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to stand and walk on concrete floors for 8 to10 hours per day.
  • Must be able to frequently bend and squat.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to apply 65 pounds of push/pull force.
  • Must be comfortable with frequent exposure to greases, oils, solvents, and surface coatings.
  • Must be capable of safely working with and around heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Must be able to see clearly and follow written instructions.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly.
