Location: Durbin Crossing

Position Overview

The Junior Director of Tennis at Durbin Crossing is responsible for leading and growing a high-quality junior tennis program for residents of all ages and skill levels. This role oversees programming, coaching staff, events, and daily tennis operations while fostering a welcoming and engaging tennis community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage tennis programs for juniors and adults, including clinics, lessons, camps, leagues, and social events

  • Provide group and private tennis instruction as needed

  • Schedule, and supervise tennis coaching staff

  • Maintain consistent coaching standards and player development pathways

  • Organize tournaments, leagues, and community tennis events

  • Serve as the primary contact for tennis-related inquiries

  • Manage court usage, lesson scheduling, and equipment needs

  • Collaborate with community management on programming, pricing, and promotion

  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and professional tennis environment

  • Retain, and growing both junior and adult programs with development pathways

Qualifications

  • Tennis certification (USPTA, PTR, or equivalent preferred)

  • Experience coaching players of various ages and skill levels

  • Leadership or program management experience preferred

  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Compensation includes $50 per hour for all junior and adult clinics and $60 per hour for all private lessons conducted outside the scheduled clinic times. Upon completion of the first session, and provided that classes are fully retained with demonstrated potential for program growth and additional offerings, the Director of Junior Tennis will be eligible for a quarterly performance-based bonus.
