DESCRIPTION:
Visual Sound is seeking an experienced A/V Systems Design Engineer for C2 environments for our Harrisburg, PA office. This role will oversee the design, install, and maintenance of audio-visual systems for environments including, emergency operations centers, data centers, and control rooms. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in AV technology, network proficiency, and cybersecurity. **This person can also reside near our Corporate Office in Broomall, PA**
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates technical skills, product knowledge, and terminology of the Command-and-Control space
- Manages the design and integration of complex AV systems for mission-critical environments to meet operational needs
- Maintains AV expertise in video wall technology, networked AV, and meeting room solutions
- Ensures AV systems operate reliably and provides seamless service for uninterrupted performance
- Collaborates on system designs that emphasize user experience and respond to clients' changing needs
- Manage complex projects and work with project management teams
- Troubleshoot and maintain systems with a focus on high availability and rapid response
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a CTS certification, along with 5+ years of AV expertise
- Strong background in electrical engineering
- Hands-on experience with AV integration systems and technologies
- Adept with developing business strategies related to mission-critical environments
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure environments and make prompt decisions when challenges arise
- BA Degree or combination of education and four or more years Command & Control or similar industry experience
