Clifton Public Library

The Clifton Public Library (Passaic County) has an opening for a part-time Librarian. This position reports to the supervisor of the Reference Department of its Main Memorial Library. Primary duty will be in the Main Library but may include occasional shifts in the Allwood Branch as well as in the Children’s Department when coverage or extra help is needed.   We are looking for a service-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and competency in the use and instruction of technology to join our team. You will be providing outstanding reference, reader’s advisory and computer assistance to a diverse public. Bi-lingual skills are a plus. We will embark on strategic planning in the near future that will include addressing the need for outreach and expanded offerings to the ELL (English Language Learners) and workforce communities.
