Archaeological Field Techs will assist with or conduct archaeological field surveys or monitoring. This is a fixed-term consulting role with a duration of six months and the possibility of renewal. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Digging shovel tests and screening soil; · Conduct intensive pedestrian surveys consisting of visually inspecting the land surface for presence of artifacts; · Monitoring alongside construction crews to avoid impacts to resources; · Bagging recovered artifacts and recording the provenience of the finds; · Maintaining field notes; · Compliance with corporate HSE; and · Performing other duties as assigned or required.
