Description: Summary: The Quality Engineer reports directly to the Quality Manager and represents and supports all Plant and Corporate Quality initiatives and will act as a liaison between departments (Engineering, Production, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Quality).  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Measure/monitor assembly processes through first pass yield to drive continuous process improvements. Develop and implement robust corrective actions for customer related concerns. Support Mfg. Engineering teams in the development of new processes and test equipment. Practice the use of quality tools where applicable: 8D problem solving, Six Sigma, FMEA, control plans and  SPC. Assist in the day-to-day activities  and training of Quality Inspectors and quality subject matter.
