How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare: This position will support Botetourt County Schools in Buchanan, Va. The School Athletic Trainer works with athletes to prevent athletic injury and enhance performance using knowledge of nutrition, hygiene, psychology, conditioning and protective equipment. Develops training programs to prevent injuries and examine athletes' injuries while also showing them techniques to build their strength and avoid future or further injury. They will be a point of contact between area athletic programs and the physician practice. Provides support for clinical and medical staff in the delivery of quality medical care.
