Position Title: Garage Mechanic Location: Altoona, IA, United States Description: The garage mechanic, under general supervision, performs a variety of skilled tasks in connection with the maintenance of vehicles and other equipment. May perform body and fender work on vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities: Performs all work in a safe manner. Complies with all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures. Performs all work they are qualified and trained to do in a manner to protect themselves, their fellow employees and the public from injury. Diagnoses, maintains and repairs all motorized and non-motorized equipment and components.
