General nature of position: Supervises and coordinates the safety, activities, production, workforce, processes, and outcomes of the department. Meet or exceed company daily goal Value Added Service shipping volume for outbound. Set objections and ensure pallet area are fully staffed and associates are focused on building orders to set up for outbound. Responsible for the accuracy and punctuality of all shipments. Supervises and coordinates workers for maximum productivity without sacrificing quality. Assists Ops Manger by identifying work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite workflow. Plan layout of VAS staging areas, to consider/incorporate data related to turnover and availability or styles, colors, sizes, weight, shipment sizes and related factors.
