Job purpose The Electronic Technician is responsible for installation, troubleshooting and repairing of mechanical, electrical and electronic assemblies and systems. Work includes production, engineering setups, installations, testing, certification, and repair. Duties and responsibilities Assembles and modifies sub-assemblies, final assemblies and systems per manufacturing drawings and instructions. Accountable for all projects through completion including coordination with production, purchasing, engineering and quality as needed. Design, communicate, estimate and implement electronic circuits and PLC programming. Perform required LOTO for all machine work according to established requirements. Tests production machines to ensure proper operation per established test criteria. Troubleshoots electronics down to the component level to determine cause and remedy of any malfunction.
