*Job Overview* We are seeking a board-certified forensic pathologist or board-eligible forensic pathologist (still within 2-3 years of completing a fellowship program in forensic pathology) to serve counties in the northern California region who can work independently but in consultation with a supervising forensic pathologist. This is a flexible hybrid work schedule, performing autopsies as needed, while allowing cases to be completed from home. The expected area of residency will be in the beautiful wine country of Napa Valley and Santa Rosa. *Responsibilities* · Perform coroner, hospital, and private autopsies on decedents of all ages, including but not limited to, fetuses, neonates, and infants. · Perform autopsies on all manners of death with an understanding that there may be unique protocols for unique cases. · Complete routine autopsy prosections and dissections within one or two hours, and complete final autopsy reports within 3 months for coroner cases, and within...
