JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Makes work assignments, monitors and directs food production on assigned shift to ensure appropriate production and timely service of food items, making sure that departmental standards of quality and service are followed. Circulates throughout the Nutrition Services department to ensure that staff members are properly handling potentially hazardous foods, monitoring cooking and holding temperatures and following established food preparation and sanitation standards. Circulates throughout the Nutrition Services department to ensure that staff members are performing assigned tasks consistent with established procedures and documentation standards. Conducts audits to ensure that procedures are being followed. Coaches and takes corrective action for food products and customer service that does not meet standards.
