ABOUT THE JOB : Efficiently and accurately generate takeoffs of project plans, and inputs necessary data into software programs to create quotes. Analyzes blueprints, specifications, proposals and other documentation as needed when completing quotes ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES : Assesses all costs - material and labor - for potential construction projects. Assist with creating estimates and cost or expenditure statements for use in future project consideration. Consults with Sales and provides Sales with detailed scopes of work for competitive bids. Develop multiple estimates for a variety of materials in a typical construction project Able to read and understand construction blue prints Translate blue prints to quote/estimate for project Know pricing structure of company and use Best Management Practice to win bids Assist with project work as directed by Department Manager Comply with all Geneva Pipe and...
