ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspects and tests relays and other substation equipment to ensure proper operation, utilizing such equipment as voltmeters, ammeters, phase angle meters, oscilloscopes and related electrical testing equipment Installs and maintains substation, transmission, and distribution Protection systems Performs routine maintenance on relays and substation equipment as required to maintain NERC compliance Trains and instructs less experienced personnel in techniques of relay maintenance and other duties by applying a full working knowledge of safe work procedures as outlined in the Safety Manual Available to perform on call...
