Mackinac Straits Health System is recruiting a Full Time Registered Nurse- PACU to join our surgical team. This position is responsible for assessing the needs of each patient during a surgical procedure, and ensures that policies and procedures are met and maintains patient safety. Outlines individual care plans, implements, evaluates and documents care of peri-operative patient. Provides leadership to the OR team, communicates with patient and family, OR team and manager and ancillary departments. Participates in staff development through preceptorship and continuing education. Cross training may be required within all areas of surgery including but not limited to PAT, Pre-Op phases 1 and 2, and Post Op..
