To verify that the dry ingredients are batched correctly in the proper manner in order to ensure a quality product is made for customers. ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES On the 1st batch of every formula, verify that all ingredients for the formula are correct. Verify that the operators are batching the correct ingredients in the right quantities. Verify that the batching books are being properly documented and that documentation is done by the operators in a timely manner. This includes verifying that the correct lot numbers are used and documented. Weights for all ingredients used in a formula shall also be verified by visually auditing the operators when they are weighing the product. All operators should be audited once per shift. New trainees should be audited at increased frequencies to ensure they are being trained correctly and to ensure batching is being done correctly as per the SOPs.
