Your Role & Responsibilities As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you’ll play a key role in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Working alongside an Occupational Therapist (OT) and under the guidance of clinical leadership, you’ll provide compassionate, hands-on care while ensuring patients receive personalized, high-quality therapy services. Providing Patient-Centered Care Follow agency policies and procedures to ensure safe, effective care. Work with patients to improve or minimize residual physical disabilities. Help individuals return to their optimal level of productivity and independence. Perform skilled therapy procedures as ordered by the physician and outlined in the care plan.
